Sharky's hosts steel tip dart tournaments every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

These are modified blind draw tournaments (using The Dartabase to draw partners), in double elimination format. In some areas, this is called a "luck of the draw" tournament. All Sharky's tournamnets use a Circuit style modified blind draw which makes sure that women do not draw women as their partners.

The winners bracket games are 501/Cricket/Bulls Choice. Losers bracket is normally one game of bulls choice, but may be two out of three for smaller tournaments.

All are house-added pots. On the 3rd Saturday every month we hold our Monthly Dart Tournament. with a $300 add-in. On Sept 10th 2005 we will hold our 24th Anniversary Tournament with a $400 add-in.

The Modified Blind Draw:On Thursdays, we host The Circuit, which uses a modified draw. Sharky's also uses the same modified blind draw for all tournaments. In a Circuit Modified draw, women do not draw other women as partners. Other than that modification, the draw is a straight blind draw. It is done by assigning all women to teams first, while making sure that they aren't paired with another woman, and then assigning the men to the spots which are still open. We use The Dartabase to do the draw.

The Honey Pot: The Circuit has a honey pot. $1 per player goes into the honey pot, and the team with a woman on it who does the best in the tournament wins the money.

The High Out Pot: The high out is paid each night to the team which hits the highest out of the night in 501. It must be in the 41 and up range, just like the mystery out. Normal Sharky's tournaments do not have a high-out pot - we have a Cricket Pot instead. Sharky's Monthly Tournament does have a high-out pot, as does The Circuit.

The Mystery Out: Outs in the 41-170 range give the team which hit it a chance to win the mystery out. Current Mystery Out Amount..

The Cricket Pot: Your point-score in any cricket game that you win gives you a chance to win the cricket pot. It's similar to a mystery out (though with better odds of winning), except designed for cricket.

The Bulls Pot: We are no longer running the bulls pot. We may bring it back at some point.

Dream Out: At the end of every regular tournament, players are allowed to buy chances for the Dream Out. $1 per chance, or $5 for 6 chances. Once we have sold the chances, we pick a player. They are allowed up to 9 warm up darts. Once they are ready, we pick a number from the MO bottle. Any out from 2-170 is possible. The player then tries to hit that out, ending with a double, just like in a standard x01 game. If the player hits the out, they win 50% of the dream out pot. The money remaining in the pot rolls over to be used for the dream out in the next tournament. (We do not run a dream out following a 2nd tournament. The dream out is used for regular tournaments, Circuit tournaments, the monthly tournament, the quarterly and the post-quarterly tournaments.) Current Dream Out Amount.

January 27th, 2007, Saturday, 5:00 PM.

Once every three months (usually the 4th Saturday in January, April, July, & October) Sharky's holds their quarterly tournament. This tournament is open only to players who have qualified by playing in 3 or more Sharky's tournaments. (This includes all Sharky's Standard tournaments, as well as the Sharky's monthly tournaments and 2nd tournaments.) The bar add-in is $10 per player in the tournament, up to $400.

Total Entry Fee for The Quarterly is $10.00, just like regular Sharky's tournaments. But the large add-in sure raises the payout!

Following the Quarterly, we hold our regular tournament at 8:30. All players are welcome to play.

On the third Saturday of every month, Sharky's holds their monthly tournament. $300 Bar Add-In! The format is a Circuit modified blind draw, double elimination. The mystery out for this tournament is Sharky's Progressive MO. We pay 4 to 6 teams (8 to 12 players) depending on the number of players, and normally have around 40 players.

Total entry fee is $10. 1st place makes at least $100 each.

This is a Circuit-Modified blind-draw partners tournament. Any player may enter. This tournament does count towards qualifying for Sharky's Quarterly Tournament.
