Every three months (usually the fourth Saturday in January, April, July, and October) Sharky's holds our Quarterly Dart Tournament.

Our next Quarterly is scheduled for ???? at 5:00.

You must qualify, but it is *much* easier to qualify than in the past. To qualify, just play in 3 Sharky's Tournaments during the preceding 3 month period.

The bar will add $10 per player, up to a maximum of $400.

The players shown below have played at least 2 sharky's tournaments during this season (Since ?????.) 3 or more gets you qualified.

The "Current Rating" is your rating for the current period based on your win/loss stats. It only looks at tournaments during the current period. (January 27th - April 28th.)

"Long Term Rating" is your rating for as many games as the computer knows about. (Only the last 100 games if you have played more than 100). Long Term Rating isn't limited to only the tournaments during the current quarter, it looks at all tournaments in the computer, up to the maximum of 100 games. The Long Term Rating is your important statistic. It's not perfect, but it's a good indicator of your skill level. The Current Rating helps show if you're doing better or worse recently, and looks only at what you have done during the current quarterly period. You must play at least 5 Sharky's tournaments to have a long term rating.

Your rating doesn't effect how the draw works, or who your partner will be. It's only used as a guideline to show who the stronger players are.

The rating is a calculation that starts with a "placed in the money YY% of the times they played", and then some bonuses are given for 1st and 2nd place. Placing in the money helps - getting 1st place helps more than getting 3rd, etc. Currently, the stats do not go back for the full time. While the computer was down at Sharky's, we ran everything manually.
