Sunday, December 11th, is signup for the Spring 2006 DDA season. This
is a CPB meeting also. Folders should be turned in, and
teams should have a representative (ideally the captain) at the
meeting.
Sharky's sponsors teams! We pay all team and indivividual dues
at signup.
The fall season begins January 16th, 2006.
Players Needed!
I often know of teams that need to pick up a player. If you are trying to find
a team, be sure to let me know. Maybe I can help.
Sign up on the email list to stay informed, and let me know
if you are looking for a team. If I can, I'll help you
find one. -Stephen.
Sharky's Dart Thang
Dart leagues are one of the best ways for new players to
join in and play organized darts. It's Free To Play!
Sharky's will pay all of the fee's asssociated with DDA league
teams, and will help you find a team to play with. League play
is divided into several levels of play, so stronger players
play against stronger players, and weaker players play against
weaker players. This gives everyone a good chance to win.
When you join a league team, you play once a week on a night
of your choice. (Usually Mondays, Tuesdays, or Wednesdays, and
mixed doubles teams play on Thursdays.) Your team plays
another team each week. Roughly half of your games will
be at Sharky's (your home pub) and roughly half will be
at another pub.
The DDA (Dallas Darts Association) has a website.
Visit the DDA's website
for current schedules and standings.
If you would like to join a league team, just email me,
or talk to me at Sharky's.
Teams which would like to move to Sharky's are welcome. Again,
either email me or talk to me at Sharky's.
Spring 2005 season begins January 17th. Schedules will be
available on the
DDA's website.
Sharky's Dart Thang
Dart Thang Home Page.
During the summer, DDA doesn't hold a normal league season. During
that period, and Sharky's has something "completely different" called
the Dart Thang.
Everyone is welcome to play the Dart Thang, but it is
really oriented towards mid level and less experience players.
(Don't take that wrong - several strong players also enjoy
it.) It's a fun way to play darts!

in the Dart Thang, visit this page.
